About Mitchi
Some information about Mitchi, my 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT SL.
Basic Info
Mitchi is a factory white 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT/GTO SL coupe. My foster family first got her in 2009, and I've wanted her ever since, never thinking I would actually end up becoming the owner. In late 2021, during a family gathering, I saw Mitchi sitting in the garage collecting dust and proposed that I have her. Just a week later, she was mine. She's got some things wrong with her, and she's going to need a lot of love and attention, but I'm thrilled to have Mitchi as my first car!
Current modifications?
Any current modifications to the vehicle were done by my foster father, who got the car from someone who kept it completely stock. There are currently black rims with low-profile tires, as well as an aftermarket stereo system. It is unsure if the alarm system on the car is stock, or third-party.
Future plans for Mitchi?
She's going to need a love and attention to get her operating normally, again. That being said, I don't plan to do anything appearance-wise until the mechanical issues have been properly addressed and resolved.
The age on the alarm system is quite clear, with the remote falling apart and showing connection issues. That's my first initial change to the car, along with re-wiring the stereo system.
Because of the car's age, I plan to get a new paint job to match (as best as possible) the current, factory paint job. To pair well with the white paint job, I'm looking at getting bronze or copper rims that are larger than the current rims, with a higher tire profile. Besides upgrading the exterior lighting in the front, with both the headlights and the fog lights, I plan to keep everything else on the car stock.
When it comes to the interior, the seats need to be replaced at some point, but not in the near future, as they show signs of normal wear and tear from being a 27 year old car.
